He Sure Loves His Daddy

“There is no other relationship quite like that which can and should exist between a boy and his dad. It can be one of the most nurturing, joyful relationships in life, one that can have a profound impact on who boys become and also on who dads become.” - M. Russell Ballard, “Fathers and Sons: A Remarkable Relationship,” Ensign, Nov. 2009, 47
Daddies and sons are just the cutest combos ever. Seriously. I LOVE watching my boys with their Dada... and it's especially fun to see Peter, who can talk and really interact, with his Dad. He loves him and looks up to him sooo much...

Potty training is still going (slow). But at least it's going. Sometime before this kid graduates high school, he WILL be potty trained.

It snowed an insane amount in DC starting yesterday. Our car is buried--literally buried--in snow right now. Robert and Peter went on a daddy-son outing in the snow, to take out the garbage (Robert had a bag and Peter had a bag), get the mail, and of course, PLAY in the snow! One of the cutest things about Robert and Peter is that Peter looks like a small version of Robert--he looks soooo much like his dad, lucky guy! It makes the daddy-toddler outings just that much more adorable.

Robert caught some cute pictures (and proof of the snowstorm). Church is canceled tomorrow (second week in a row!), so we are just hanging out at home, feeling grateful our power hasn't gone out (unlike some of our friends in the area).

Love to all!
