fantastical jellyfish; final sculpture proj

yesterday i gave my last presentation for my sculpture project, which was bittersweet. i would skip out on critiques, but i will miss the people in my class that i started developing friendships with. i have to do this all over again next semester, boo.

i do have to say i really loved this class and might possibly take sculpture 2 so i can continue experimenting with various materials and make more creatures (not really)

here she/he/it is mega sized for you! it's a fantastical jellyfish made from epoxy with lots of paint, glitter, glow in the dark paint (not shown) and a light that illuminated the inside as well. i hung it from the ceiling so people would want to look under and get a different response from the piece not being on the ground. 

i don't know how i'm going to display it at home, right now its just sitting on my desk, along with all my other art projects.
