I Won!!

Apparently, Robert and I are just plain lucky. We both have 101.9 The End in our phone books (yes, we're geeks), so whenever we hear a contest going on, we call immediately. As you should remember, a little over a month ago, Robert won tickets to a movie via 101.9 The End. And about five minutes ago . . . I won tickets to an "End Zone" concert with a band called Five Star Iris. I just started checking them out and I am WAY excited. You can check them out here.

Welp, it's about time I expose you all to one of my deepest passions: music. Ever since I was . . . well, born . . . music has been an important part of my life, and it remains so today. My tastes have expanded over the years, but music is still integral to me.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Peter and I LOVE to dance together to some of MY favorite songs. So let's keep this simple. My favorites vary quite often, but here are my current top twenty-five (excluding church music, which is a whole different list altogether). Not in too much of an order:

One Tip

I did actually think of one tip I recommend to ANYONE with a newborn: buy and use a SwaddleMe (you can buy one here; thanks to Lauren and Jennifer!). Peter LOVES his. It instantly calms him down and gets him ready for bed. We don't use it every night, but we did at the beginning . . . so maybe that taught him to go to sleep for long periods of time? I don't know.
